This is the world of Badura: singularly extraordinary pieces, unmatched in style and substance, that embody the enduring value of Italian craftsmanship.
Alta pelletteria: high leather goods
Aleksandra Badura founded the house of BADURA in 2013.
A visionary designer and innovative thinker, Aleksandra translates her passion for the “Made in
Italy” seal of quality and her love of exceptional raw materials into an entirely handmade
collection of one-of-a-kind leather accessories.
Custom couture is part of Aleksandra’s DNA. As a child, she accompanied her mother and
grandmother on their visits to the seamstresses who sewed
One day years later, during a flight home to Italy, Aleksandra sketched a handbag she dreamed of but couldn’t find anywhere — which would soon become the Ladylike, a Badura icon. She subsequently decided to embrace her entrepreneurial instincts and establish her own company.
Aleksandra’s singular vision comes to life at the Badura lab in the center of Rome. Here, she works alongside master artisans with more than 40 years of unrivaled expertise in alta pelletteria — literally “high leather goods”— using methods steeped in centuries of inimitable Italian tradition.
The geometry of diamonds
Her exacting eye informs the shape and lines of every piece — specifically, the cuts of diamonds, a precise geometry that is Badura’s signature. Every day, in the lab that is the beating heart of the Badura brand, Aleksandra’s gift for pairing colors and textures and knack for technical innovation merge with the world-class talents of her team, ultimately culminating in entirely bespoke creations crafted to last a lifetime.
